At Ibaraki Nature Museum there is a section for volunteers. Currently, about ninety volunteers are working enjoyably and creatively.

Status of the Museum Volunteer, Ibaraki Nature Museum.
(1)The Museum Volunteer is an important partner who works with the museum staff and supports the Museum's lifelong learning activities.
(2)The Museum Volunteer is one of a group of lifelong learners who wish to improve their quality of life by developing self-awareness through museum activities.
(3)The Museum Volunteer is at the center of TOMONOKAI where he/she functions as an intermediary for citizens, or visitors and the Museum.

Method of Application

On a postcard write your address, name, age, occupation, telephone number. On this postcard write 'I wish to be a volunteer.' Send the card to ' c/o Division for Education.
